Flash 9 - certainly better, but not great
I’m not sure what the deal is but my framerate performace is pretty bad when viewing YouTube still. I’m connected on WiFi and it’s better, but not great. Do we think this is a CPU, Memory or Opera issue?
I was also able to view Viddler for the first time as it only supports Flash 9 but the same low refresh issues exist. Not to be a downer here, but why do we have the support when the experience is less than ideal?

Someone on internettablettalk suggested holding the stylus on the youtube video until the flash menu comes up and setting quality to low. Apparently this makes the videos “watchable.” I haven’t tried it yet.

That trick worked last round as well - not sure why they don’t set that as the default. I’d like more than just watchable .. wouldn’t you?

Since applying the firmware update, I’ve noticed that the Opera browser on the N800 tends to hang pretty frequently when viewing websites with embedded Flash content (Youtube, Viddler, etc). Is anyone else seeing this?
To be more specific, the whole UI becomes extremely unresponsive; I can’t scroll up or down in the browser, and doing things like switching between full-screen and windowed mode are fairly slow. When/if the video does come up, it’s extremely choppy (both audio and video).
I never experienced problems like this with Opera prior to the last firmware update. This is the second update I’ve done since purchasing the device.
